How to Install wMobile

2.  Review the wMobile License Agreement and click I Agree to accept the terms and continue installing the wMobile.

Auto – This installation type will determine the installation path based on the location of the Remote GoldMine Service. The location will be displayed but cannot be edited. wMobile will be installed using the default web site in IIS and will create a wMobile virtual directory.  No configuration options will be displayed. If configuration is needed or desired then select the Default or Advanced installation type.
Note: This option can only be used if all components of wMobile will be installed on the same server. If the Remote GoldMine Service is detected, then this installation type will be selected for ease of installation. If the Remote GoldMine Service is not detected, then this installation option will be disabled.

Advanced – This installation mode provides the option to configure installation location and advanced web settings. This should be used if the application (wmobile) will need to use its own port, application pool, and custom settings. This method also provides the option to use the HTTPS protocol.
 

4.	Enter the appropriate values for the settings indicated on the ‘wMobile Settings’ screen of the wizard.   Click ‘Test Settings’ to verify your settings.   Click Next.   A SQL Username with ‘dbo’ rights to the database must be supplied in the ‘SQL Username’ field.

  Once the GoldMine Server has been filled in, the 'Get' button can be used to pull SQL Server configuration information from the Remote GoldMine Service into the wMobile Installer!
