This action is performed on the GoldMine Server.
To Set Permissions on the GoldMine folder for the Service Account, do the following:
| • | For Servers or Computers that ARE NOT part in an Active Directory
|
| 1. | Browse to your GoldMine folder.
|
| 2. | Right-click on the GoldMine folder and select Properties.
|
| 3. | Click the Security tab.
|
| 7. | Locate and double-click on the Service Account.
|
| 9. | Check the boxes for Modify, Read & Execute, List folder contents, Read and Write under the Allow column.

| • | For Servers or Computers that ARE part in an Active Directory
|
| 1. | Browse to your GoldMine folder.
|
| 2. | Right-click on the GoldMine folder and select Properties.
|
| 3. | Click the Security tab.
|
| 4. | Click Add.
NOTE: Check to see that the Active Directory Domain is listed in the From this location: box. If it is not, follow steps 4.1 through 4.4:
4.1. Click the Locations button.
4.2. Expand Entire Directory.
4.3. Select the Active Directory Domain that contains the Service Account. Note: DO NOT EXPAND the Domain, you simply need to select it.
4.4. Click OK.

| 7. | Locate and double-click on the Service Account.
|
| 9. | Click the boxes for Modify, Read & Execute, List folder contents, Read and Write under the Allow column.
