NOTE: You will need to have a copy of your Windows 2000 Installation CD in order to successfully install IIS.
| 1. | Click Start and navigate to the Control Panel. |
| 2. | Double-click on Add or Remove Programs. |
| 3. | In the Add or Remove Programs window, click Add/Remove Windows Components. |
| 4. | In the Windows Component Wizard window, click the empty box next to Internet Information Services. |
| 5. | Click the Details button. |
| 6. | In the Internet Information Services window, Uncheck the box next to SMTP Service. |
| 7. | Click OK. |
| 8. | In the Windows Component Wizard window, click Next. |
| 9. | When prompted, insert your Windows 2000 Installation CD and click OK. NOTE: You may be prompted several times to insert your installation CD, if the CD is already inserted, simply click OK. |
| 10. | When prompted, click Finish. |
