| 1. | Double-click on My Computer. |
| 2. | Find the drive letter from the value in SYSDIR referenced in the GM.INI. Example: If SYSDIR=w:\GoldMine, then you will need to right-click on the drive letter W:. |
| 3. | Right-click on the drive and select Properties. |
| 4. | Check the Type on the General tab. |
| 5. | If the Type is Network Drive, then the drive letter is a mapped drive. |
| 6. | If the Type is Local Disk, then the drive letter is NOT a mapped drive . |
