In Any Edition of GoldMine

1.Open GoldMine and login.

2.Click on Help and select About or About GoldMine.

3.Click System.

4.Browse to the path referenced in the System Files line.

5.Once you have navigated to the path, open the file named GM.INI.

6.In GM.INI, look for a setting called SYSDIR.

7.Make a note of the value following SYSDIR=.

8.If the value begins with \\, then the GM.INI is using a UNC path to find the GoldMine system files.
Note:  wMobile will be able to find the GoldMine system files using a UNC path.  No changes are needed to achieve a successful wMobile installation.

9.If the value begins with a letter, then there is a possibility that the GM.INI is using a Mapped Drive Letter to find the GoldMine System Files.
Note:  wMobile will not be able to find the GoldMine System Files using a mapped drive letter, so the value must be removed or ignored in order to achieve a successful wMobile installation.  For more information, see: Discussion: GM.INI Settings
