| 1. | Open GoldMine and login.
|
| 2. | Click on Help and select About or About GoldMine.
|
| 4. | Browse to the path referenced in the System Files line.
|
| 5. | Once you have navigated to the path, open the file named GM.INI.
|
| 6. | In GM.INI, look for a setting called SYSDIR.
|
| 7. | Make a note of the value following SYSDIR=.
|
| 8. | If the value begins with \\, then the GM.INI is using a UNC path to find the GoldMine system files.
Note: wMobile will be able to find the GoldMine system files using a UNC path. No changes are needed to achieve a successful wMobile installation.

| 9. | If the value begins with a letter, then there is a possibility that the GM.INI is using a Mapped Drive Letter to find the GoldMine System Files.
Note: wMobile will not be able to find the GoldMine System Files using a mapped drive letter, so the value must be removed or ignored in order to achieve a successful wMobile installation. For more information, see: Discussion: GM.INI Settings |
