| • | By default when the Web Server role is installed on Windows 2008 Server, several role services needed for wMobile might be missing. Ensure the following role services are installed. |
| • | Client Certificate Mapping Authentication |
| • | IIS Client Certificate Mapping Authentication |
| • | IP and Domain Restrictions |
| • | IIS 6 Management Compatibility |
| • | If Web Server role is already installed, follow these steps to check if the required Role Services are installed. |
| 1. | Click Start and navigate to the Control Panel. |
| 2. | Double-click on Programs and Features. |
| 3. | In the Programs and Features window, click Turn Windows features on or off. |
| 4. | In the Server Manager window, click the plus sign next to Roles. |
| 5. | Select the Web Server (IIS) role. |
| 6. | In the Web Server (IIS) pane, scroll down to Role Services. |
| 7. | Verify that the status for each of the Role Services above is listed as Installed
|
| • | If any of the Role Services are missing, follow these steps to add the Role Service to the Web Server role. |
| 1. | Click Add Role Services. |
| 2. | In the Add Role Services window, select the any of the missing Role Services from list: |
| 3. | In the Role Services window, click Next. |
| 4. | In the Role Services window, Click Install. |
| 5. | When prompted, click Close. |
