Adding a Browser Shortcut to wMobile

To avoid typing in the web address for each wMobile session, save the address to your browser favorites.

 

Using a BlackBerry Browser

The BlackBerry browser application starts you in a bookmarks page. To add a bookmark:

Click the scroll wheel
Scroll down to and click on Add Bookmark
Type the name of the bookmark 'wMobile'
Type the web address given to you by your wMobile administrator
Click Add

 

Using a Palm Treo Browser

In the Treo browser press the menu key on the keyboard:
  add_shortcut_treo_02
This will bring up a menu strip as shown to the left.
Click Add Bookmark and type a Name (wMobile), a description of your choice and the web address given to you in the URL field.

 

notes  NOTE: URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator (or simply a web address).

 

Using a Windows Mobile Browser

In the Windows Mobile browser click the star button on the bottom of the screen. This will bring up your Favorites Manager.
From the Favorites Manager click the Add tab and enter the name and address for the wMobile site given to you by your wMobile administrator.
